From Kate McVeigh’s Blessing of Favor – a really great book for both seasoned & new believers:
You are God’s favorite child. This revelation transformed my life. I have so much favor operating in my life now that I believe I’m God’s favorite child. When His favor begins to manifest and you see Him do so many good things in your life, you can’t help but believe that you must be His absolute favorite child. (Deut. 32:9,10;Matt. 7:11.)
I believe that one day of favor is worth a thousand days of labor. God can do for you in one day what could take years to accomplish alone.
The blessing of God’s favor in your life is not based upon your background, talents, abilities, or anything you have earned. It is promised to you in the Bible, and all you have to do is believe it. Uncommon favor is available to every born again child of God.
A Prayer for Favor on the Job
Father, I thank You that promotion doesn’t come from the east or the west or the south but from You. Because of Your favor upon me, I will be lifted up and promoted at my job.
Just as You were with Joseph, Lord, so You are with me on my job. Thank You for showing me mercy and loving kindness and for giving me favor with everyone I come in contact with today, especially my superiors. Thank You for making whatever I do prosper.
Father, I purpose in my heart to be diligent. I am giving my all at what I do for a living, and people are noticing. The world may think that education, brilliance, or being well connected “maketh rich,” but even though those things can be helpful, I thank You that Your Word says, “…the hand of the diligent maketh rich.” Because of You, my superiors like me and favor me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
