From Mark Brazee’s 365 Days of Healing:
Romans 10:14: How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
Years ago I traveled to India with five other ministers to conduct a seminar for native ministers. Six of us taught on different subjects, but I taught on healing for one hour every day for three and a half weeks. Mostly, God dealt with me to teach on the Atonement that Jesus purchased for us on the Cross.
On the first day different ministers asked me to pray for their healing, but the Spirit of God wouldn’t allow me to. I told them, “Not yet; we’ll do it later.” Each day another minister would ask for prayer, and I’d say the same thing. I knew if I prayed for their healing prematurely, they wouldn’t receive. They didn’t know enough of the Word to have strong faith because they’d only begun to hear about healing.
On the last day the Lord spoke to my spirit, “It’s time to pray, but don’t you pray or lay hands on them. They are ministers; let them pray for each other.” I obeyed the Lord, and afterward I asked how many received manifestations of healing. Hands went up all over.
After hearing the Word day after day, these ministers could hardly wait for me to finish teaching so they could pray. Their faith had grown strong hearing the Word; they were ready to receive.
The same will happen to you as you hear and hear the Word.
Confession: I take time to hear God’s Word on healing and faith rises in me, producing healing from head to toe.
